Floristic regions of Thailand

Recent research shows that Thailand can be divided into four floristic regions [1], including:

(1) Southern, (2) Northern, (3) Eastern. (4) Central

These provinces differ from the seven regions used at present in the Flora of Thailand Project [2], which include:

(1) Northern. (2) North-eastern, (3) Eastern, (4) South-western, (5) Central, (6) South-eastern, and (7) Peninsular.
